It totally is. It’s obvious that Tom wants to bang goose instead of the instructor. But he doesn’t tell goose about his banging fantasy cuz he thinks that they won’t give him the top gun award and will kick him out cuz he is gay. Then goose dies and Tom totally rebounds his bang fantasy on ice man. And he only bangs that one chick cuz she is secretly a man. It’s totally a subplot of the movie. I thought you knew this?
